Caravans all come with a fridge as standard. Mattresses are supplied. Caravans do not come with crockery, cutlery, or bedding.

Caravans are powered by 240V electricity. Legally, the supply must be 15amps to a van though most homes only deliver 10amp supply. For an upfront fee of $25 a converter with built in safety switch and an extension lead (10, 20, or 30 metres) can be provided for the duration of your hire.

There is bond payable upon initial hire equivalent to two weeks rent. If the van is damaged the hirer is financially liable for the repair or the insurance, which ever is less. The hirer is responsible for any damage done to their van whilst on hire to them.

Ideally the space for setting up caravans is a flat and solid surface. You will need to consider whether the van will fit under any carports you might have also. If you need some help you are welcome to text us pictures and call us to discuss your proposed site. Please note: Caravans cannot be parked on residential streets due to council regulations – they must be on private land.

It is the responsibility of the hirer to gain approval from their landlord if applicable. We strongly recommend you talk to them and gain approval in writing. If a caravan is required to be removed due to non-approval, a break of contract fee is charged and the van is collected.

LPG cooking and the use of sinks are not allowed by council regulations if the caravan is parked on residential land.

No. This is strictly prohibited. Caravans must be towed or repositioned by Add A Pad staff only. If a caravan is required to be repositioned whilst on-hire, this will attract an additional fee.

Pets – pets are permitted in vans though the hirer is financially responsible for any damage caused or any extra cleaning that may be required.
Smoking – No smoking at any time in caravans. Cleaning fees will apply for non-compliance.
